This page walks you through installing and activating your automation correctly.

No technical background required — just follow each step in order.

⚙️ What You’ll Need Before Starting


• A Windows PC or VPS

• MetaTrader 4 (MT4) installed

• Your EA file (.ex4 or .mq4)

• Your license key (Google script link)

• Stable internet connection


⚠️ MT4 does not run natively on iPhone or Android.



🧩 STEP 1 — Install MetaTrader 4

  1. Download MT4 from your broker or official source
  2. Install and launch MT4
  3. Log in to your trading account

✔ Demo accounts are supported

✔ Live accounts are supported

📂 STEP 2 — Copy EA File to MT4

  1. Open MT4
  2. Click File → Open Data Folder
  3. Open MQL4 → Experts
  4. Paste the EA file inside the Experts folder
  5. Close MT4 and restart it


🔓 STEP 3 — Enable Auto Trading

  1. Open MT4
  2. Click Tools → Options
  3. Go to Expert Advisors tab
  4. Enable the following:
    • ✔ Enable Expert Advisors
    • ✔ Allow DLL imports
  6. Click OK


📊 STEP 4 — Attach EA to Chart

  1. Press Ctrl + N to open Navigator
  2. Expand Expert Advisors
  3. Drag the EA onto any chart
  4. Under Common, check:
    • ✔ Allow live trading
  6. Click OK

🌐 STEP 5 — Allow WebRequest (One-Time Setup)

  1. Go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors
  2. Enable Allow WebRequest
  3. Add this URL:  https://script.google.com 
  4. Click OK

  5. 🔑 STEP 6 — Enter License Key

    1. Right-click the chart → EA Properties
    2. Open Inputs tab
    3. Paste your license key
      (Google link starting with script.google.com)
    4. Click OK

    ✅ Smiley face = EA activated

    ❌ Error message = contact support



    ✅ Final Checklist

    ✔ AutoTrading button is ON (green)

    ✔ Smiley face visible on chart

    ✔ No error messages in Experts tab


    Your automation is now running.
